One of the most fun projects students create during the school year is Crea tu Propia Colonia. I like to use this with Spanish 2 and AP Spanish Language.
For Spanish 2 students I like to go over the guide and help them understand each step and word. I spend an entire day reviewing the terms. For AP Spanish Language I like to incorporate the courses themes into it. When they present their Colony they have to mention a couple of themes and subthemes.
